Helping OCD

The relief to know
it had a name

I had suffered with OCD for many years, having disturbing intrusive thoughts not knowing what was wrong with me. I found the courage to seek help and my doctor put me in touch with Judith.

I was very nervous at the first session which Judith put me at ease. She told me at the end of that very first session that I had been suffering with OCD, the relief to know it had a name for what I had and I wasn’t alone was huge.

Over the next few months I had several sessions with Judith with homework to complete in between sessions and with Judith’s expertise in this area I started to see real changes in my thoughts. I have dramatically improved and Judith has transformed my life. I know that l’ll never totally be free of this condition but with Judith’s support and strategies she has taught me, I’m much more able to cope when it does resurface. I am very grateful to Judith and all she has helped me with.
